JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - After being suspended in the top of the fifth inning Saturday due to rain, the Arkansas State baseball team and Eastern Illinois are slated to resume the contest at 3 p.m. Monday at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field. Game three of the series will be canceled.
The Red Wolves led 3-1 after four frames and prepared to take the field for the fifth when rainfall increased. After nearly an hourlong weather delay, teams and game officials suspended play.
No tickets will be necessary for entry Monday, and single-game tickets purchased for game three of the series can be exchanged for any other game this season. Those wishing to exchange tickets can contact the Red Wolves Foundation at (870) 972-2401.
