GR8 Job: Fire chief saves dog from house fire

KENNETT, Mo. (KAIT) -A Kennett family’s best friend has a new leash on life after the fire chief saved him from a house fire.

According to a news release shared on social media, the fire department responded to a house fire Wednesday in the 700-block of Slicer Street.

Once inside the home, Chief Paul Spain found a frightened pup.

He took the dog outside and administered oxygen.

Aside from the pup, no other injuries were reported.
