NE Arkansas school districts reporting COVID-19 cases

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Several schools in Northeast Arkansas continue to report positive COVID-19 cases among their students and faculty.

As of Thursday, Oct. 14, the following districts are reporting at least 5 active confirmed cases, according to the Arkansas Department of Health, or have otherwise communicated COVID cases on their campuses. These numbers do not include quarantine numbers unless otherwise noted:

Baxter County

  • Mountain Home School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Norfork School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.

Clay County

  • Corning School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Piggott School District: As of Oct. 11, ADH reports 6 active cases, 64 cumulative cases.
  • Rector School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.

Cleburne County

  • Concord School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 5 active cases, 29 cumulative cases.
  • Heber Springs School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Quitman School District: ADH reports 6 active cases, 5 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 29 cumulative student cases.

Craighead County

  • ASU-Newport Jonesboro: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Arkansas State University-Jonesboro: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 7 active cases, 22 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 58 cumulative student cases.
  • Brookland School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Buffalo Island Central: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 11 active cases, 55 cumulative cases.
  • Jonesboro School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 29 active cases, 32 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 293 cumulative student cases.
  • Nettleton School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 6 active cases, 8 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 76 cumulative student cases.
  • Riverside School District: As of Oct. 11, ADH reports 7 active cases, 38 cumulative cases
  • Westside School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Valley View School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 11 active cases, 8 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 62 cumulative student cases.

Crittenden County

  • Marion School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • West Memphis School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 16 active cases, 26 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 212 cumulative student cases.

Cross County

  • Cross County School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 6 active cases, 52 cumulative cases
  • Wynne School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 7 active cases, 26 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 95 cumulative student cases.

Greene County

  • Greene County Tech School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 13 active cases, 28 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 210 cumulative student cases.
  • Marmaduke School District: As of Oct. 11, ADH reports 5 active cases, 11 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 43 cumulative student cases.
  • Paragould School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 30 active cases, 20 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 229 cumulative student cases.

Independence County

  • Batesville School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 16 active cases, 17 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 120 cumulative student cases.
  • Midland School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Southside School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 9 active cases, 8 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 80 cumulative student cases.

Jackson County

  • Jackson Co. School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 11 active cases, 48 cumulative cases.
  • Newport School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 8 active cases, 14 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 84 cumulative student cases.

Lawrence County

  • Hillcrest School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 7 active cases and 35 cumulative cases.
  • Hoxie School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 5 active cases and 60 cumulative cases.
  • Lawrence County School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.

Mississippi County

  • Armorel School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 9 active cases, 5 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 34 cumulative student cases..
  • Blytheville School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Gosnell School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 9 active cases, 13 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 67 cumulative student cases.

  • Marked Tree School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
  • Trumann School District: As of Oct. 14, ADH reports 12 active cases, 7 cumulative faculty/staff cases, and 86 cumulative student cases.

Randolph County

Woodruff County

  • Augusta School District: As of Oct. 11, no active cases reported.
