A Family for Me: Reagan

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Teenage girls are typically a big fan of getting their hair and make-up done, and 13-year old Reagan is no exception.

While she likes the girly things in life, she’s also a fan of soccer, football, and “kind of” volleyball.

Adoption Specialist Jennifer Miller says Reagan is a good kid.

“She’s just a very polite kid. Kind of funny. About your typical teenager but she has her moments when she needs a little extra love,” Miller said.

Reagan mentioned that she loves pets and hopes to be a veterinarian one day.

She also says that one day she will adopt some kids.

She has had a rough life and will likely continue counseling and mental health treatment, but Miller says that is normal.

“They are going to have some sort of trauma. Anytime. Think about it for yourself. When someone you love is taken from you, however they are taken from you, you’re going to have trauma! It’s just the amount of trauma and some of our kids are not very traumatized at all. They may be too young. Then some of them are pretty traumatized. But you have to think about it… How would I feel? Give them that extra patience and love to get through that," Miller said.
